I set it in fine and sterling silver and added a single 22k gold dot above the stone for a touch of warmth. The opal, in its setting, measures approximately 20mm x 12mm and hangs from an oxidized sterling silver paperclip chain. The entire piece has been oxidized and brushed to create a beautiful rustic patina.
