This double-sided Koroit opal was too beautiful for its original setting, so I gave it the makeover it deserved! Turn it over and you’ll find gorgeous color on both sides: flashes of lime green, yellow, orange and blue, with a fleck or two of red.
I set the opal in fine silver and added a few 14k gold-filled granules for a touch of warmth. The pendant measures approximately 19 × 11 mm in its setting and hangs from a sterling silver paper clip chain. Everything is oxidized and brushed to bring out that rustic, handmade texture.
