A large handmade star cradles a plump Australian pipe opal that absolutely glows with swirls of vibrant green and blue, finished with a soft purple haze drifting across the top. The colors dance across the stone as it catches the light, making every angle a little different.
I hand fabricated the sterling silver star and added tiny shooting stars around the tips to give it a whimsical, celestial feel. Hanging alongside the star are two additional charms—a fine silver shooting star and a rich green emerald that beautifully echoes the colors within the opal.
Everything is suspended from a substantial sterling silver rolo chain. The entire necklace has been lightly oxidized and hand brushed to create a soft, rustic patina that highlights every handcrafted detail.
