Like little watercolor paintings, these teardrop boulder opals reveal beautiful swirls of green and blue, crossed by a shimmery streak of rose pink. That delicate pink shimmer proved especially hard to photograph, appearing almost white when I tried to capture it, but it’s there in person.
Handcrafted in my studio, each opal is set in fine silver and accented with a single 18k gold dot at the bottom—a small touch of warmth against the cool colors. An 18k gold connecting ring joins each drop to a sturdy sterling silver leverback ear wire.
The silver is very lightly oxidized and brushed, retaining a mostly bright, satin finish that beautifully frames the stones.
The drops measure approximately 27mm below the leverbacks, with a total earring length of approximately 45mm.
