Sunshine meets sea in this open-ended ring, pairing a vibrant natural yellow tourmaline with a beautiful blue-green opal. Yellow is one of tourmaline’s rarer colors, making this sunny stone a special find. I set both stones in fine and sterling silver, adding two 18k gold granules along the outer edge of the opal to echo the tourmaline’s golden warmth.
The tourmaline measures approximately 12mm round in its setting, and the opal measures approximately 18mm x 12mm. The two stones face one another in an open design that lets each color shine.
Currently a size 6, this ring can be opened to accommodate a slightly larger size.
